*Responsibilities*
* Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to regulatory standards * Provide expert consultation to healthcare professionals and patients regarding medication therapy and management * Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust treatment plans as necessary * Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols * Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans * Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of prescriptions and patient interactions * Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and storage instructions * Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceuticals
*Skills*
* Proven experience in hospital or acute care pharmacy settings * Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and pharmacy law * Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations, including pediatrics * Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments * Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in dispensing medications * Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and support staff * Certification as a licensed Pharmacist is required; relevant certifications in pediatrics or specialized fields are a plus
Pay: $55.00-$66.91 per hour
