*Job Summary* We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring property, preventing theft, and maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. Prior experience in law enforcement or surveillance is highly valued.
*Duties*
* Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols throughout the resort, including cottages, RV sites, pools, recreation areas, parking lots, and common facilities. * Monitor resort entrances and exits to ensure only authorized guests, residents, and visitors access the property. * Enforce client policies, regulations, and quiet-hour requirements. * Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, complaints, and emergencies. * Provide assistance to guests, residents, and staff in a professional and courteous manner. * Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, vandalism, theft, or trespassing. * Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and occurrence reports accurately and promptly. * Monitor CCTV systems and security equipment, where applicable. * Assist with traffic control and parking enforcement during peak periods, special events, and holidays. * Perform wellness and safety checks around pools, playgrounds, recreation facilities, and waterfront areas. * Coordinate with emergency services, police, fire, and medical personnel when required. * Ensure gates, buildings, and facilities are properly secured during overnight shifts. * Conduct routine inspections to identify safety concerns and report maintenance issues. * Respond to alarm activations and investigate security breaches. * Promote a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, seasonal residents, and visitors.
*Experience*
* Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred * Knowledge of surveillance systems and CCTV operation is highly desirable * Experience in loss prevention strategies is a plus * Strong observational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure * Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor * Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
