As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and food service, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation.
*Responsibilities*
* Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. * Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of food handling and preparation. * Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours. * Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. * Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols. * Maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
*Experience*
* Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred. * Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. * Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and kitchen tools. * Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. * Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with other kitchen staff.
