Role Description
• Validate RESTful and event-driven APIs to ensure functional accuracy, performance, and reliability.
• Design and execute API test cases covering positive, negative, and edge-case scenarios.
• Perform automated API testing using tools and frameworks such as Postman, Karate, and REST Assured.
• Validate API security, authentication, and authorization using OAuth2 and JWT.
• Collaborate with API Developers, Solution Architects, and DevOps teams across delivery pods.
• Support CI/CD integrated testing, defect triage, and release sign-off.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise quality, security, and regulatory standards.
Essential Skills
• 4?7 years of experience in API or integration testing within BFSI or regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP protocols, and integration patterns.
• Experience with API test automation and defect management tools.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
