Speedy Auto Service Waterloo has an immediate opening for an Automotive Service Technician Apprentice to join our team.
If you have a passion for cars, and you are looking for a long term position to grow with a well established company.
Suitable candidate must have a valid drivers license.
This is also a hands-on position. You must like working with customers, staff and working on cars. It is a fast-paced environment.

* Understand all aspects of the Service Operation * Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned * Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required * Assist Technicians, as required * Maintain High level of Customer Service and Satisfaction * Assist with Technical issues as needed * Maintain a safe and productive working environment * Perform Brake and Suspension work as required * Ability to do alignments * Ability to do all vehicle service requirements. * Complete reports to record problems and work performed. * Maintain a clean and safe bay area before, during and after vehicle servicing. * *REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:* * Some prior experience in an automotive environment is required * Ability to communicate technical information in a simple manner * Ability to pay attention to detail * Exceptional customer service skills with the desire to exceed customer expectations * Valid G License with a clean driving record * Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills * Willing to learn more as a part of further personal development
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
Flexible language requirement: * French not required
Experience: * automotive technician: 3 years (preferred) * shop: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification: * Drivers License (required)
