Eagles Nest is a non-profit organization dedicated to working with vulnerable youth in group home environments. We are seeking a permanent full-time Human Resources Administrator in our Prince Albert administration office. DAYS & HOURS OF WORK: Full-time onsite Monday-Friday, 9:00-5:00 RESPONSIBILITIES: Handle the entire recruitment process Monitor a list of casual employees and maintain an on-call schedule Facilitate enrollments into our benefits and employer-matched RSP plans Assist in developing & updating ENYR policies, procedures & print materials Maintain employee paper & electronic files Maintain a clean & orderly office & adequate stock of the necessary supplies Book/organize meetings & interviews & accept registrations/RSVPs Attend meetings, take minutes, & facilitate the follow up on action items Facilitate training Provide holiday coverage for HR teammates Mentor and train fellow members of the HR team Remain up-to-date on industry best practices, legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resource functions Provide guidance and assistance to managers regarding human resource functions and employment legislation including Employment Standards, OH&S, Human Rights, etc Other reasonable duties as required/assigned. COMPETENCIES: Strong fundamental HR knowledge & expertise Self-starter with exceptional resourcefulness, initiative and ability to hit the ground running Excellent organizational skills, & attention to detail QUALIFICATIONS: Post-secondary education in HR and/or significant previous experience with recruitment or supporting an HR department Working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices and principles Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and MS Office Suite Excellent communication skills and strong, accurate keyboarding skills Familiarity with Indigenous culture is an asset Criminal Record Check is required
