We are seeking a skilled and dependable to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of construction, including concrete forming, restoration, siding, carpentry, aluminum flashing. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a wide range of hand and power tools. Candidates should be capable of heavy lifting and working with woodworking, and concrete finishing tasks. This position is essential for ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and safety on all job sites.
*Responsibilities*
* Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute construction projects accurately * Construct and install concrete forms, perform concrete finishing tasks, and assist with restoration projects * Install siding and perform carpentry work using hand tools and power tools * Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to support various construction activities * Handle heavy lifting safely to move materials and equipment around the job site * Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency * Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in construction, carpentry, concrete forming, or related fields * Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings * Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments * Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites * Experience with concrete finishing, siding installation, restoration work, or woodworking is preferred * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
