Location: 1007 A Kearns cres RM of Sherwood,SKS4K 0A1 Salary: 32.50to34.00hourly (To be negotiated)/40 to 50 hours per week Terms of employment: Permanent employment Full time Flexible hours, Overtime required, Overtime available Duties:Load and unload goods Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform brake adjustments Perform emergency roadside repairs Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Perform preventive maintenance Receive and relay information to central dispatch Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Transport and handle dangerous goods Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Air Brakes Endorsement Driver's License (Class 1 or A) Transportation/travel information Willing to travel for extended periods Willing to travel overnight Transportation/travel experience Long-haul Provincial/territorial
