About this role
Howitt Construction Ltd is looking for an experienced _local_ Class 1 driver with tri-drive experience hauling aggregate from various locations surrounding Dickson Dam to the site. This position will operate for the 2026 construction season in the Red Deer area.
The successful candidate will have experience hauling aggregate with a *side dump *trailer, navigating soft ground, gravel pits and maintaining log books.
Position Requirements:
* must be able to safely transport aggregate, * chain up if necessary, * maintain log book, * complete walk arounds and daily paperwork, * be moderately mechanically inclined, * provide clean five year commercial driver's abstract.
Start date is asap, work schedule is 10 hours/day.
