*Job Summary*
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Distribution Supervisor to oversee warehouse distribution operations. The ideal candidate will manage daily logistics, coordinate shipping and receiving activities, and ensure efficient order fulfillment. This leadership role requires strong knowledge of warehouse management systems, and safety protocols to maintain a smooth and productive distribution environment.
*Duties*
* Supervise daily warehouse distribution activities, including staffing, order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving processes on all international and domestic shipments * Maintain integrity of warehouse, perpetual inventory, and MRP system. * Manage inventory using Warehouse Management System (WMS) for accurate tracking and reporting * Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery schedules * Lead a team of warehouse shippers/receivers/material handlers * Ensure proper packaging of products for shipment to prevent damage during transit * Monitor productivity metrics and implement process improvements to optimize warehouse operations * Investigate, evaluate and take action * Collaborate with logistics partners to streamline load & unload procedures and improve overall efficiency
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience in warehouse distribution management or supervisory roles within manufacturing or logistics environments * Strong knowledge of warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, order pickers, cranes, forklifts, and lifting techniques * Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and other inventory control software * Experience with shipping & receiving procedures, order picking, packaging, and order fulfillment processes * Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff effectively * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and process optimization * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards and efficiency
Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
