South Etobicoke Animal Hospital is growing, and we're looking for a compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented *Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)* or experienced Veterinary Technician to join our hospital.

What You'll Do
As a valued member of our veterinary team, you will:
* Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, and treatments. * Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical procedures. * Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, radiographs, laboratory sample collection, and in-house diagnostics. * Administer medications and treatments as directed. * Monitor and care for hospitalized patients. * Educate clients on preventative care, nutrition, medications, and post-operative instructions. * Maintain accurate and complete medical records. * Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, CSRs, and ACAs to provide outstanding patient care. * Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital.
Qualifications
* Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in good standing with the OAVT is preferred; experienced Veterinary Technicians are also encouraged to apply. * Previous experience in a companion animal practice is preferred. * Excellent patient handling and nursing skills. * Strong communication and client education abilities. * Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment. * Positive attitude with a willingness to support teammates. * Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
