About this role
Can-Traffic Labourers assist with a variety of installation, maintenance, and repair projects involving street lights, traffic signals, pedestrian crossovers, signage, flashing beacons, and other traffic electrical devices.
Our crews operate Monday to Friday, 40+ hours per week, with opportunities for overtime throughout the season. This is a seasonal position, with work primarily during peak construction months. Candidates should be available for periodic out-of-town assignments and night shifts as required.

*What you will do Everyday*
* Assist crews with the installation, maintenance, and repair of traffic signals, street lights, and other roadside infrastructure * Operate hand and power tools; may operate equipment (e.g., skid steers, mini excavators, trenchers) based on training and experience * Follow all safety procedures to ensure the safety of your team and the public * Maintain a clean and organized worksite * Perform other duties as assigned

* Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctual attendance * Ability to work in a physically demanding, outdoor environment * Willingness to travel and work varied shifts, including nights and weekends * Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
*Qualifications Needed*
* High school diploma or equivalent * Previous construction experience is an asset * Valid Alberta Class 5 driver?s license * 5-year Commercial Driver?s Abstract with fewer than 6 demerits

Pay: $21.19-$24.53 per hour
