*Job Overview* We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Accounting Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in preparing preparing financial statements using Caseware, have experience doing personal tax returns in TaxCycle, be detail oriented, and have a professional, friendly manner.
*Duties*
* Utilize accounting software such as Caseware, TaxCycle, and QBO as part of the financial statement preparation process. * Prepare working papers and adjusting entries * Prepare GST returns * Some data entry may be required * Prepare personal tax returns * communicate with clients in an effective and professional manner
*Experience and Skills*
* A minimum of 2 years of experience in public practice dealing with the accounting and taxation needs of private companies and their shareholders. * Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. * Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
