Medical Office Assistant Needed ASAP
We are looking for a dedicated and professional *Medical Office Assistant* to join our multidisciplinary team. You will manage both administrative duties and basic clinical support to help our medical staff provide exceptional patient care.
*Clinical Duties Include*
* Preparation of examination rooms, escorting patients to rooms, and recording basic vital signs (e.g., blood pressure). * Calling out test results to patients. * Coordinating appointment scheduling to optimize provider availability and reduce wait times. * *Performing vaccine clinics for all ages.* * Notify patients of upcoming diagnostic imaging appointments. * Assist with clinical inventory of supplies and vaccines. * Emergency kit, AED, and oxygen tank monitoring. * Maintain a clean and organized work space. * *Skills & Qualifications* * Completion of a recognized Medical Office Assistant diploma or certificate program is preferred. * CPR and First Aid Certified. * Certified injection training mandatory. * AED Training an asset. * Proficiency with electronic medical records systems such as Telus PSS. * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. * Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and staff. * Experience in vaccine injecting and documentation mandatory. * Holter Monitor hook-up and ear flushing experience an asset. * Ability to work well under pressure in a busy healthcare environment. * This position offers an opportunity to be an integral part of a compassionate healthcare team while developing valuable skills.
