The Registered Dental Hygienist will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, patient education, and assisting the dental team in delivering comprehensive oral healthcare.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies * Take and develop dental radiographs as needed * Assist in the diagnosis of oral health issues by recording findings accurately * Provide patient comfort and support throughout procedures * Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure infection control standards are met * Manage patient records efficiently using Dentrix or similar dental management software * Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and excellent patient experience
*Experience*
* Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist * Prior experience working in a dental office setting is preferred * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically * Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry is beneficial
