JOB PURPOSEThe Electroneurophysiology Technologist 2 is responsible for providing EEG and/or EMG services.QUALIFICATIONSCompletion of a recognized course for Electroneurophysiology Technologists. Must be a member of the Canadian Association of Electroneurophysiology Technologists. Must be registered with the Canadian Board of Registration of Electroencephalography Technologists.Ability to attend work on a regular basis.Ability to perform the duties of the position.Good work record.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe Electroneurophysiology Technologist 2 is responsible for:Preparing patients for E.E.G. and/or E.M.G proceduresPreparing and operating equipmentScreening tests and preparing reports for physiciansCleaning, inspecting, troubleshooting and maintaining equipmentMaintaining clinical records and documentationMonitoring patients interoperativelyProviding mentoring and support for technicians and other health care professionalsCOMPETENCIES IDENTIFIED BY HORIZON HEALTH NETWORKAttention to DetailInterpersonal RelationsMentoringPatient/Client FocusPlanning and Prioritizing WorkResults OrientationTeamwork and Collaboration Interested?
