*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice full time. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. This role requires a strong understanding of medical/dental terminology, proficiency in dental software systems, and the ability to work effectively with patients.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral diseases. * Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences. * Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, periodontal surgery and preventive care. * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. * Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix and Epic. * Collaborate with dental hygienists and other staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care. * Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
*Qualifications*
* Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. * Valid state dental license to practice dentistry. * Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry. * Experience or interest in pediatrics is preferred. * Proficiency in using dental office management software, particularly Tracker is an asset. * Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
