We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent driving skills. Preference will be given to candidates residing in Edmonton, Alberta.Responsibilities
* Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight to various destinations according to schedule * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and regulatory compliance * Maintain accurate delivery documentation and driver logs in accordance with company policies * Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding schedules and any issues * Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness * Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times
Qualifications
* Valid Class 1 Driver?s Licence (Alberta) * Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience * Experience operating Super B and Step Deck trailers is required * Strong knowledge of transportation safety procedures and traffic regulations * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively * Physically capable of loading/unloading freight and operating equipment when required
