*Overhead Crane Operator *

*Key Responsibilities:*
*Equipment Operation:*
* Operate a remote overhead crane. * Ensure safe and efficient handling of materials.
*Physical Handling:*
* Regularly lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
*Quality Control:*
* Maintain high standards of safety and operational efficiency.
*Team Collaboration:*
* Work in coordination with other departments. * Contribute to team objectives and assist in various operational projects.
*Qualifications:*
*Experience:*
Must have at least 1 year of experience working specifically in a steel or metal environment, not just general industrial experience.
*Skills & Abilities:*
* Good communication and multitasking skills, including good English language proficiency. * Flexibility and reliability in various work situations. * Knowledge of safe operation of heavy machinery. * Familiarity with basic measuring equipment, including micrometers.
*Personal Attributes: *Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to workplace safety.
*Compensation & Benefits:*
* Salary: $23.90 - $25.40 per hour. * Additional pay for overtime. * Midnight Shift Premium: Additional $1 per hour. * The comprehensive benefits package includes Dental, Disability, Extended Health Care, Life Insurance, Vision Care, a Wellness Program, Employee Assistance Program, and Profit Sharing, along with On-site Parking.
*Working Hours:*
* Full-time position with three shift options: * *Midnights:* 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM, starting Sunday night. * *Dayshift:* 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. * *Afternoons:* 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM. * Candidates will be assigned to one specific shift but may occasionally be required to cover other shifts.
