We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our reputable dental practice. *Duties*

* Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth to prevent cavities and periodontal disease * Take and develop dental radiographs as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort * Provide oral health education to patients about proper brushing, flossing, and overall dental care practices * Assist in identifying oral health issues and communicate findings to the dentist for further evaluation * Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software * Support the dental team with assisting duties when necessary, including sterilization of instruments and setup of treatment areas * Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for patients of all ages, including pediatrics * Bilingual communication skills are a plus to effectively serve diverse patient populations

*Skills*

* Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations * Proficiency with Dentrix or other dental practice management software * Experience in orthodontics, pediatrics, or general dentistry is preferred * Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to make patients feel comfortable and cared for * Previous experience in dental assisting is advantageous but not required * Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance communication with diverse patients * Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: From $57.00 per hour
