About this role
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Trim trees to achieve the desired pruning objective such as crown cleaning, thinning, raising, reduction, restoration, espalier pruning, vista pruning. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Direct crews who maintain the health and appearance of golf courses and their surrounding landscapes. Plan and co-ordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses and other purposes. Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens. Area of work experience: Project coordination. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity.
