Tasks: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems. Discuss work with supervisor. Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions. Review work orders . Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs . Perform scheduled maintenance service. Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements. Plan repair work to be performed. Estimate repair cost based on damage examination report.
