Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Hotel, motel, resort. Tasks: Plan and co-ordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews. Co-ordinate inspection of assigned areas. Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met. Co-ordinate maintenance and repair services. Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment and uniforms. Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff. Respond to complaints of guests. Supervision: 3-4 people. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Employment terms options: Day. Weekend.
