Education: Bachelor's degree. Work setting: Sports therapy. Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Tasks: Administer evaluative tests. Assess patients' physical abilities. Examine the patient. Make decisions on tests and procedures. Supervise technical and support staff. Order and purchase equipment. Plan physiotherapy programs. Select appropriate exercises, apparatus and manipulations. Maintain clinical and progress reports. Confer with other health professionals. Conduct research in physiotherapy. Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulatory Boards Examination. Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
