About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Direct traffic at or near construction sites. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Personal suitability: Flexibility. Reliability. Team player. Experience: No experience (will train). Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
