Job summary

Band 3 MSW Antenatal Clinic - Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Location: This post is primarily based at Basingstoke Hospital

o The post holder will assist the multi-disciplinary team in the provision of a high quality family-centred, maternity service.o The post holder will support the midwife in all clinical areas in the care of women and babies.

The post holder should have previous or current experience within a maternity setting.

Experience in maternity care within the hospital and ideally within the community setting as well to join our team providing maternity services across a large part of Hampshire Care certificate and skills/competencies signed off as Band 2 MSWy Ability to work as part of a team, be organised and prioritise personal workload

Training & Qualifications Essential

Care certificate Good standard of general education in English language and math's GCSE grades A-

Desirable

oNVQ 3 or equivalent

Skills & Ability Essential

Planning and organisational ability Willingness to undertake a diploma in Newborn hearing screening programme Venepuncture Full driving license

Desirable

Willingness to undertake AN education classes

Experience & Knowledge Essential

Experience in maternity care Current experience within a healthcare setting
