Hours

This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week.

Salary

This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £45,331 per annum - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job

As a Release and Transfer Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will

manage the assessment of health needs, planning, delivery and evaluation of care, for the prison population, including clinical risk assessment provide care and planning for adult male prisoners from the point of reception until the day of release or transfer to another establishment work collaboratively with the patient and any other agencies to support a safe transition back into the community/ other establishment

Qualifications required

Registered Adult Nurse Evidence of implementation of local and national policies e.g. NICE guidance Experience demonstrating high levels of clinical expertise Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate openly, consistently and clearly Flexible attitude to working arrangements

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
