Sea Lodge is a specialist, nurse-led supported living service on the stunning Northumberland coastline. Rated Good by CQC, we provide high-quality, person-centred support to two adults with learning disabilities and complex health and behavioural needs, enabling them to live fulfilling lives in their own home.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) to join our experienced and supportive team.

This is far more than a traditional nursing role. As a Band 7 Nurse at Sea Lodge, you will:

Lead shifts and provide clinical leadership within a well-established multidisciplinary team. Deliver and oversee person-centred care that promotes independence,choiceand wellbeing. Use your professional judgement to assess risk, manage complexsituationsand support positive outcomes. Coach,mentorand supervise support staff, helping them deliver exceptional care. Build meaningful relationships with service users,familiesand partner professionals.You'll have the opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities while making a lasting impact on the lives of the people we support.

Main duties of the job

About You

We're looking for a Registered Learning Disability Nurse who is:

Passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities to achieve the best possible quality of life.

Experienced in working with individuals who may display behaviours of concern and have complex support needs.

A confident decision-maker with strong clinical and risk management skills.

An effective leader who can motivate and support colleagues.

Committed to professional development and maintaining the highest standards of nursing practice.

To be successful, you must:

Hold current RNLD registration with the NMC. Have post-registration experience working within learning disability services.Work-Life Balance

This full-time position is based on a rotational day shift pattern, typically:

3 x 12.5 hour shifts07:45am 8:15pm
