Job summary

Are you a passionate and patient-focused GP looking for an opportunity to work within a friendly, progressive, and well-supported practice? Inspire Health is seeking an enthusiastic Salaried GP for 4 sessions per week (Thursdays and Fridays) to join our thriving and expanding team based at Avenue House Surgery and Hasland Medical Centre in Chesterfield.

Main duties of the job

Providing comprehensive medical care to patients through face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations.Diagnosing and managing acute and long-term health conditions.Conducting home visits where clinically appropriate.Prescribing medication and reviewing treatment plans in line with best practice and local prescribing guidance.Reviewing test results, correspondence, and clinical documents, and taking appropriate action.Maintaining accurate and timely electronic patient records.Participating in safeguarding responsibilities for children and vulnerable adults.Working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team, including nurses, pharmacists, paramedic, and administrative staff.Supporting health promotion, disease prevention, and population health initiatives.Contributing to practice meetings, clinical governance, quality improvement activities, audits, and significant event reviews.Complying with GMC standards, NHS contractual requirements, CQC standards, and local policies.Supporting the education and supervision of trainees, students, or other healthcare professionals where appropriate.Participating in practice development and service improvement initiatives.
