Job summary
We are looking to recruit an established Band 6 practitioner with experience in minor injuries & illness but will consider developmental Band 5 to Band 6 .
Camborne & Redruth Minor Injuries Unit has a rare opportunity to work in a practitioner-led Minor Injuries unit working in conjunction with a doctor- led Primary Care Centre/Urgent Treatment Centre, committed to delivering high quality care to the local population.
The MIU operates 8am-10pm, 7 days a week. There is a marked increase in patient attendance during the holiday period.
You need to have a passion for minor injury care, good communication skills, and a commitment to providing excellent care as part of the MIU team. You must be responsive to change and be flexible in your approach. A sound knowledge of professional issues will be required.
Main duties of the job
This job is currently only open to people who already work for the NHS in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly.

Current professional registration - 1st Level NMC/HCPC Knowledge of developments in health care locally and nationally Post-registration experience - hospital/front line experience in an urgent care environment
