Research Assistant
Gibbet Hill, University of Warwick
Fixed-term, part-time 0.25 FTE 9.125 hours per week.
This position is available for 23 months starting from 1st April 2026, working with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, public health researchers, and data, social and computer scientists.
About You The successful candidate will have a good honours degree and Master’s degree in a medical, health-related, life, computer or data sciences or research methods related subject along with excellent (or capability to upskill) computing and programming skills in multiple languages and environments. Experience with machine learning and AI in biomedical settings would be considered favourable.
You will also need a problem-solving ability to manage and analyse datasets and the ability to publish academic outputs. They will report regularly on progress and attend regular meetings with project partner groups in the UK and overseas.
