Position Overview The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and timely completion of month-end activities. This role supports business leaders with financial insights while helping scale processes and improving operational efficiency to support company growth. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting expertise, leadership capability, and experience working in a professional services, managed services, SaaS, or recurring revenue environment. What You’ll Do · Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting. · Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and support documentation. · Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts. · Prepare monthly financial statements and management reporting packages. · Analyze financial performance and explain key variances. · Oversee revenue recognition activities and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (ASC 606 preferred). · Review client contracts and service agreements for appropriate accounting treatment. · Partner with operations and billing teams to support accurate invoice and revenue reporting. · Monitor deferred revenue, accrued revenue, and contract-related accounting activities. · Strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. · Support audit activities and prepare required documentation. · Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, and reporting efficiency. · Collaborate with FP&A, operations, sales, and leadership teams to support business goals. · Support ERP enhancements, system implementations, and process transformation initiatives. · Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members. What You Bring · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. · CPA / CA qualification preferred. · 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. · 2+ years of leadership or people management experience. · Experience within professional services, managed services, consulting, technology services, or SaaS environments preferred. · Experience with recurring revenue and contract accounting are strongly preferred. · Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and revenue recognition principles. · Experience with ERP/accounting platforms such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems. · Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. · Experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit support. · Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. · Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. · High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
