Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:
We’re looking for a commercially minded Account Manager to lead client relationships and drive high-impact campaigns across PR, events, and brand activations
This role goes beyond client servicing. You will own accounts strategically and commercially — ensuring projects are not only creatively strong but also profitable, well-scoped, and growth-driven
You will work closely with leadership, project managers, creatives, and shared services to deliver seamless, high-quality campaigns.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Client Leadership & Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accountsBuild strong, long-term client partnerships based on trust and clarityLead client meetings, presentations, and key communicationsManage escalations and protect the agency’s position professionally
2. Strategic Direction & Campaign Oversight
Translate client briefs into clear strategic direction internallyAlign delivery teams on objectives, deliverables, and prioritiesEnsure campaigns are executed to high creative and operational standardsMaintain oversight across timelines and major milestonesEnsure client briefs are translated into clear, digestible internal plans across stakeholdersProactively monitor project status (timeline, budget, deliverables) and flag risks or delaysMaintain visibility across multiple projects simultaneously (typically 4–6 accounts depending on complexity)
3. Account Growth & Revenue Expansion
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunitiesProactively propose campaign extensions and new initiativesMaintain visibility of pipeline opportunities within accountsContribute to new business efforts when neededExplore potential new business opportunities through networking, events, and industry exposure (nice-to-have)
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Project Managers to ensure smooth executionAlign with Procurement and Finance on cost control and payment flowPartner with creatives and production teams to elevate campaign qualityWork closely with vendors and external partners to ensure alignment on budget and execution qualityContribute to overall project smoothness, ensuring strong collaboration across internal teams, vendors, and partners
5. Commercial Ownership & Profitability
Own project pricing, scope alignment, and margin protectionManage change orders and prevent scope creepEnsure billing milestones are triggered and aligned with deliveryMonitor project profitability in partnership with financeSupport cost optimization by identifying savings opportunities within project budgets
6. Tools, Systems & Ways of Working
Utilize Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Google Meet for day-to-day operations Use messaging platforms (Telegram, WhatsApp, Viber) for internal and client communicationLeverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) for drafting communications and simple visual/concept outputs
7. Execution Support & Field Work
Participate in on-ground execution for events and activations when requiredBe open to occasional travel within and outside Metro Manila for activations and shoots
8. Role Evolution & Additional Contributions
Potentially support proposal creation and scope development as the role evolvesRequirements
Qualifications:
2–4 years’ experience in Account Management, PR, and/or agency environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrategic thinker with strong organizational abilitiesComfortable in fast-paced, dynamic project environmentsFamiliarity with Google Workspace and common communication tools (Telegram, WhatsApp, Viber)Experience working with vendors, suppliers, or external partners (especially for events or activations)Strong sense of ownership, initiative, and accountability in managing projects end-to-endWillingness to travel for events and activations when requiredBasic financial awareness or experience in budget management / cost control is a plusPreference for candidates with good character, positive attitude, and strong interpersonal skills (team fit is critical)
