About this role

We are looking for a detail-oriented, technically-savvy IT Support Specialist to join our team. If you are a Windows power user who enjoys solving complex hardware and software puzzles—from BIOS configurations to Microsoft Entra ID management—we want to hear from you.

As our go-to technical expert, you will ensure our team stays connected, secure, and productive by managing our Microsoft Cloud environment and maintaining our fleet of Windows devices.

Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Administration: Manage Windows 10/11 environments, user profiles, permissions, and device configurations.Cloud & Identity Management: Administer Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including MFA setup and Azure-joined device management.Advanced Troubleshooting: Use the Windows toolkit (PowerShell, DISM, SFC, Event Viewer) to diagnose and resolve OS and startup issues.Network Support: Troubleshoot IP configurations, DNS, VPN connectivity, and basic router/firewall hurdles.Hardware & Peripherals: Perform diagnostics on desktops/laptops (SSD/NVMe, BIOS/UEFI) and manage printer connectivity (spooler issues, driver setups).Software Excellence: Support the full Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Excel, Word), Dropbox, OneDrive, and browser-based applications.Security First: Maintain endpoint protection, conduct malware sweeps, and promote phishing awareness/security best practices.

Technical RequirementsOperating Systems & CloudProficiency in Windows 10/11 administration.Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and basic Azure environments.Awareness of Windows Server environments.Networking & SecuritySolid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN protocols.Knowledge of antivirus/endpoint protection and secure document environments.Diagnostic ToolkitExperience using command-line tools: CHKDSK, SFC, DISM, and Task Manager.Ability to interpret Event Viewer logs and Reliability Monitor data.

Qualifications & ExperienceExperience: 2+ years in a dedicated IT Support or Help Desk role.Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users clearly.Problem Solving: A methodical approach to system diagnostics and file recovery.Education: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator certifications are a plus.Bonus Points For:Experience with RMM (Remote Monitoring & Management) tools.Knowledge of professional backup and disaster recovery solutions.Hands-on experience with custom PC builds or hardware upgrades.
