Purpose of RoleTo support the Head of Compliance on all areas relating to regulatory compliance
in the United Kingdom in line with FCA regulations.
What You'll DoAssist with the day-to-day compliance in line with regulatory and legal requirements and the company’s policies and procedures
Performing risk assessments in relation to compliance risks
Assist in the drafting of compliance related reports to the authorities (FCA)
Draft, modify and implement the company's policies, procedures and handbooks, as needed to reflect industry best practices, the evolving regulatory environment and changes to the business
Research, identify and report on a wide variety of compliance related matters due to the introduction of new legislation or best practices
Maintain oversight of the relevant Compliance registers
Assist in the function’s strategic planning and decision making
Liaise with auditors/examiners during compliance audits/examinations as assigned
Perform desk-based reviews to the company’s functions, systems and procedures as per the Company’s Compliance Monitoring Program
What You NeedBachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Economics or any other relevant field.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-performance environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
