Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Odours. Work setting: Various locations. On-site customer service. Tasks: Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted. Repair cracks and holes. Mix paint to desired colour and texture. Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging. Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces. Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Working at heights training. Equipment and machinery experience: Airless spray equipment. Brush painting. Roller painting. Pressure washers. Surface preparation experience: Water/hydroblasting. Wood finishing specialization: Staining. Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Willing to travel. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Ability to distinguish between colours. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Physically demanding. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Tools. Steel-toed safety boots. Uniform.
