We are currently seeking experienced AZ Drivers to join a leading steel solutions company with a long-standing reputation for quality, safety, and customer service. Drivers will be responsible for local and regional deliveries throughout Ontario with no overnight travel required. Key Responsibilities
• Operate AZ tractor-trailers safely and efficiently • Transport structural and reinforcing steel to customer locations throughout Ontario • Secure, tarp, and inspect loads to ensure safe transportation • Complete pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections • Monitor vehicle performance and report maintenance concerns • Maintain accurate driver logs and transportation documentation • Follow all transportation, safety, and company policies • Provide professional customer service at delivery locations Qualifications • Valid AZ Driver's License • MUST be able to drive manual/automatic • Valid Air Brake (Z) Endorsement • Strong understanding of safe driving practices • Ability to complete required transportation documentation • Clean driving record and ability to pass all pre-employment requirements Preferred Qualifications • Previous flatbed trailer experience • Experience hauling structural or reinforcing steel • Experience working within an industrial environment • Machine operation experience Physical Requirements • Ability to secure and tarp loads • Ability to climb on trailers and equipment safely • Frequent lifting, bending, reaching, and walking • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions • Ability to perform vehicle inspections and safety checks
