Job responsibilities:
* Booking loads and reloads through prospecting and new business development .
* Planning and managing available equipment and drivers.
* Identifying issues and concerns of drivers, and resolving them in a timely manner.
* Evaluate changes in market conditions and negotiate best purchase price while assessing all angles of the situation
* Actively track and trace the movement of customer freight and proactively communicate with the customers.
* Proactively communicate delays, breakdowns, road closures, etc. to customers, shippers, receivers. Effectively adjust operating plans to accommodate such circumstances. * Communicate and coordinate pickup and delivery schedules with shippers, receivers and drivers.
*Desired Skills and Experience :*
* Minimum of 1 to 2 years of Transportation/Trucking Experience required.
* Sound analytical and critical thinking skills
* Exceptional negotiation, decision making and organizational skills
* Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
* The ability to thrive in a fast-pace, deadline-oriented environment
* The ideal candidate will be an independent self-starter with excellent problem solving skills, who also can work as a team when needed.
* Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $35,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
