Employee must be available on short notice for a call-in basis as needed. Scheduled shifts will also be available. Reporting directly to the Office Manager, this position provides reception support and clerical support for the Battle River Treaty 6 Health Centre Team following established procedures. As the first point of contact, the optimal candidate will have exceptional customer service, attitude, and professionalism.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities* Certificate from a recognized business college combined with related work experience. Equivalencies will be considered* 2 years of experience in customer service or dealing with the public* The ability to speak Cree is an asset* Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Teams, with a general aptitude for expanding use of software applications to enhance efficiencies* Demonstrated ability to manage highly sensitive information and documents, exercising confidentiality, discretion, good judgement, tact, courtesy, and diplomacy always*Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and adaptability to balance the changing needs of the organization*Above-average organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal skills are required* Previous working experience with First Nations people and demonstrate an understanding of the health and social issues encountered by First Nation people, and a willingness to learn about and accept First Nations cultures*Ability to work in a team environment as an effective team player * A successful criminal record check with vulnerable sector
