*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our friendly and experienced dental team at our well established privately owned family practice in Port Colborne. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during each visit. This position requires excellent communication skills and a passion for patient care.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough dental cleanings and oral examinations. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Maintain accurate patient records and patient confidentiality using Abeldent dental software . * Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment. * Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient experience.
*Qualifications*
* Graduate of accredited dental hygiene program * Duly licensed and registered with CDHO * Strong customer service skills * Proficient in medical terminology * Familiarity with Abeldent software * Excellent communication skills for patients of all ages
Fours day averaging about 30 hours a week with remuneration based on experience.
