*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth checkout experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for retail sales, and the ability to engage with customers effectively. A background in technology sales or merchandising is a plus, as you will also assist in product demonstrations and upselling.
*Responsibilities*
* Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their inquiries. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately. * Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers on features and benefits. * Upsell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales. * Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising. * Manage inventory levels and assist with restocking as needed. * Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, ensuring a positive resolution. * Demonstrate strong time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
*Experience*
* Familiarity with technology sales or technical products is advantageous. * Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining organizational skills.
