Tocha is a BC-born company producing _hot sauce without the heat _- bold, balanced sauces designed for flavour, not extreme spice. Retailers and in-store experiences are at the heart of what we do, which is why we?re hiring an approachable, driven Brand Ambassador to join our Brand Experience Team.
*About the role*
As a Brand Ambassador, you?ll be the face of Tocha during in-store sampling sessions across a designated region. You?ll chat with customers, help them discover the right sauce for their tastebuds, and demystify our _hot sauce without the heat_. No prior sampling experience is needed, just a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and comfort engaging with all kinds of people. In this position, you?ll split your time between in-store demos and maintaining retailer relationships and inventory management across our Greater Toronto retailers.
*Role Responsibilities *
* Hosting in-store tastings and maintaining a clean, inviting setup in accordance with Tocha branding * Educating customers on flavours, ingredients, allergens, pairings, and our brand story * Encouraging sales in a friendly, non-pushy way * Tracking samples and purchases, and reporting stock levels * Managing sampling materials and equipment (this includes a custom pop-up table, brand banners, etc.) * and sharing customer insights with the Tocha team * Building and maintaining strong relationships with store partners
*What we?re looking for*
Someone reliable, organized, and proactive; you?ll need to come prepared to demos and engage with all potential customers. A natural communicator who enjoys connecting with others and representing our brand. Retail or sales experience is a bonus, though not essential.
*Requirements*
* Ability to stand comfortably for up to 4 hours * lift ~20kg * Travel to stores across Greater Toronto Area: Kitchener - Guelph - Cambridge * Hold a valid Canadian driver?s license with a clean driving record and access to a car * Be available for weekend shifts (minimum 2 weekend dates/month)
*Schedule & compensation*
* This is a flexible role, offering between two and four days per week of in-store sampling sessions and retailer check ins * Mileage Reimbursement / Motor Vehicle Expense Allowance
