*Assistant Manager*
We're looking for an organized, calm, people-focused leader to join the Archr team as our Assistant Manager.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys supporting a taem, and takes pride in creating a smooth experience for both staff and guests.
*Hours*
* 30-40 hours per week * Availability for at least one weekend day every week is required
*Pay*
* $20-25 per hour depending on experience * an additional $6-10/hourly in tips
*What You'll Be Responsible For*
* Leading the day-to-day cafe operations and ensuring each shift runs smoothly * Creating daily station assignments and organizing the team's workflow * Making sure breaks are taken on time and labour is managed throughout the day * Regularly checking in with staff to ensure they have what they need to succeed * Monitoring ticket times and guest wait times, supporting where needed * Rotating team members between stations when it makes sense to keep everyone productive and organized * Taking sick calls and finding staffing solutions to keep the cafe running smoothly * Managing inventory and placing order to keep the cafe fully stocked * Communicating with vendors and coordinating deliveries * Maintaining a clean, organized cafe and back-of-house * Delegating tasks and ensuring cleaning, stocking, and daily responsibilities are completed * Supporting, coaching, and motivating the team while leading by example
*What We're Looking For*
* Previous cafe, restaurant, or hospitality leadership experience * Strong communication and problem-solving skills * Someone who stays calm under pressure and is able to make quick decisions * Highly organized with great attention to detail * A positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed * A genuine passion for great hospitality and creating an exceptional customer experience
