About this role

*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the smooth flow of administrative tasks within the medical office. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

*Duties*

* Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk. * Manage multi-line phone systems to answer calls, schedule appointments, and address patient inquiries with professionalism. * Perform data entry tasks accurately, maintaining up-to-date patient records and information in compliance with privacy regulations. * Handle filing and organization of patient documents, ensuring easy access to information when needed. * Assist with clerical tasks including typing, proofreading documents, and preparing correspondence as required. * Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for various administrative functions and documentation needs. * Provide exceptional customer support by addressing patient concerns and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area to create a professional environment. * Support bookkeeping activities as needed, including managing invoices and payments using QuickBooks or similar software.

*Requirements*

* Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred; dental office experience is a plus. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace applications. * Strong computer skills with experience in data entry and filing systems. * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. * Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction. * Familiarity with phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems effectively. * Clerical experience is essential; administrative experience is highly valued. * Typing proficiency with attention to detail for accurate documentation and correspondence.
