About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and motivated Handyman/Handywoman to join our growing team. This role involves a wide variety of residential and commercial repair, renovation, and maintenance work. The ideal candidate is experienced in multiple trades, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work independently while maintaining a professional attitude on-site.
Responsibilities
* Perform general carpentry, framing, trim, and finish work. * Install, repair, and finish drywall, including taping, mudding, sanding, and patching. * Complete interior and exterior painting, staining, and surface preparation. * Install doors, hardware, baseboards, casing, shelving, and other finish materials. * Perform minor repairs to flooring, ceilings, walls, and other building components. * Complete general maintenance and repair tasks as assigned. * Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment safely and efficiently. * Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites. * Identify deficiencies and recommend practical repair solutions. * Work independently or alongside project managers and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years of experience in construction, renovations, or property maintenance. * Strong knowledge of carpentry, drywall, painting, and general building repairs. * Experience with multiple trades is considered a strong asset. * Ability to read basic drawings and follow project instructions. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated. * Valid G driver's licence with reliable transportation. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work. * Own basic hand tools (preferred).
