Hughes Intelligence has proudly served Sarnia-Lambton and surrounding communities since 1994. We are currently hiring *Full-Time* and *Part-Time Security Guards* who are professional, dependable, and compassionate.
Most of our work involves providing one-to-one security support in *Long-Term Care homes*, where our Security Guards play an important role in helping create a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors. We also provide security services in industrial, commercial, retail, and special event settings, offering a variety of assignments and experiences.

*Availability Requirements*
Our Security Guards provide coverage for a variety of clients with shifts available on:
* Days * Afternoons * Nights * Weekends (required) * Statutory holidays
*Scheduling is based on client needs. Successful applicants must be available to work at least two of the three primary shift types (days, afternoons, and nights).*
* *Full-Time employees* are expected to maintain open availability. * *Part-Time employees* must maintain regular weekend availability and be available to work a variety of shifts as operational needs require. * Typical shifts range from *8 to 12 hours* but can vary depending on client need.
*Security Guard Responsibilities*
* Provide professional security services at Long-Term Care homes and other client locations. * Provide one-to-one security support for Long-Term Care residents who require additional supervision. * Maintain the safety and security of residents, staff, visitors, and property. * Conduct patrols and monitor access control where required. * Monitor surveillance and alarm systems. * Respond professionally to incidents and emergencies. * Complete accurate reports and required documentation. * Enforce client policies and site procedures. * Assist with screening procedures when required. * Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional appearance and attitude.
*Required Qualifications*
* Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence. * Valid Standard First Aid & CPR certification (Red Cross or equivalent). * Valid driver's licence. * Reliable transportation to travel to assigned client sites. * Ability to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Police Check (required for Long-Term Care assignments). * Recent 2-Step TB Test (completed within the past six months) or willingness to obtain one before working in Long-Term Care. * Ability to travel to client locations, including Petrolia, Grand Bend, Wallaceburg, and Chatham, as operationally required. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
*Preferred Qualifications*
The following experience is considered an asset:
* Previous Security Guard experience. * Experience working in Long-Term Care, healthcare, hospitals, retirement homes, or with seniors.
*Training*
Successful candidates will receive Long-Term Care training before beginning Long-Term Care assignments.
