*Job Overview*
We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the aggregate industry , vehicle operation, and safety protocols, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. Candidates with experience in heavy equipment operation, and light automotive repair are preferred. This is a full-time position dedicated to delivering exceptional service and operational excellence.
*Duties*
* Safely operate AZ licensed end dumps, truck and pups, and/or flat beds over short and long distances * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations * Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit * Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies * Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness * Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues * Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations
*Experience*
* Valid AZ Commercial Driver?s License with clean driving record * End Dump, Truck and Pup, Flat Bed experience preferred * Proven experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields * Heavy equipment handling, or automotive repair is a plus * Knowledge of safety procedures related to freight handling and vehicle maintenance * Ability to operate heavy machinery and perform basic repairs or troubleshooting on vehicles * Must have manual transmission experience (13 speed, 18 speed)
Hourly rate to be discussed in person and is dependent on experience.
