About this role

The *Canadian Abilities Foundation* is a national, mission-driven charity based in downtown Cobourg. We're seeking a highly organized and compassionate Administrative Assistant to support our Executive Director and broader organizational operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who can manage shifting tasks, stays calm under pressure, and enjoys working closely with people.

Position Details: In office hours (9:00am - 5:00pm) *Monday to Thursday*

*What You?ll Do:*

* Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Executive Director * Help lead and coordinate community-based projects and initiatives * Manage shifting priorities and adapt quickly as the Executive Director's needs change * Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, partners, and community members

*What We?re Looking For:*

* Strong organizational skills and the flexibility to adapt to a busy, changing schedule * Above-average communication skills, written and verbal * Above-average computer skills (Mac Environment) * Ability to lead or coordinate community-based projects * Excellent interpersonal ("people") skills * Ability to stay composed and effective under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00-$35,000.00 per year
