*About the Role*
Laserglow is hiring a Technical Sales Consultant to convert new commercial interest into committed pilot agreements across Ontario and the broader Canadian market.
This is a focused B2B sales role for someone who can quickly understand a prospect?s operational environment, identify safety and risk-reduction priorities, and guide qualified prospects toward a structured pilot. You will be the first commercial touchpoint for prospects who have already shown awareness or curiosity about Laserglow solutions.
This is not a demand generation, channel management, or post-sale account ownership role. Your focus is converting new inbound and assigned leads into committed pilots through disciplined, consultative selling.
The ideal candidate is commercially driven, technically credible, process-oriented, and comfortable managing a high-volume sales pipeline without sacrificing quality.
*What You?ll Do*
You will own the lead-to-pilot conversion process from initial contact through pilot commitment. This includes qualifying new opportunities, conducting discovery, presenting relevant solutions, and ensuring a clean handoff once a pilot is secured.
Key responsibilities include:
* Respond to and qualify all new leads within defined service level expectations * Conduct structured discovery calls to understand safety pain points, facility type, operational urgency, and buying context * Present Laserglow solutions in relation to each prospect?s specific environment and risk profile * Guide qualified prospects toward pilot commitment using a consultative sales methodology * Maintain accurate, complete, and current HubSpot records * Hand off committed pilots to the Convert team with clear context, documentation, and next-step visibility * Provide weekly pipeline reporting to the Coordinator Lead * Share structured feedback on lead quality, objection patterns, and conversion blockers with the coordination team
*What We?re Looking For*
We?re looking for a B2B sales professional who can combine technical curiosity, commercial urgency, and disciplined pipeline execution.
Required experience:
* 3 to 5 years of B2B sales experience * Demonstrated success converting qualified leads into pilots, trials, demos, or similar early-stage commercial commitments * Experience selling into industrial, manufacturing, distribution, safety, or operational environments preferred * Experience selling into the Canadian market, with Ontario industrial market experience considered a strong asset * Proven ability to communicate with multi-contact accounts, including safety managers, operations leaders, procurement teams, and other stakeholders * Working proficiency with HubSpot or a similar CRM platform * Track record of quota attainment in a structured sales environment
