About this role
- Greeting patients in a warm and welcoming manner
- Making sure the insurance details and procedure frequencies are correct before the appointments
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing - Take and develop dental x-rays - Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate oral hygiene instructions
- Take digital dental radiographs, intraoral photographs
- Perform patient charting and maintain accurate clinical records
- Perform whitening treatments
- Sterilize instruments following infection prevention protocols
- Utilize Dentrix practice management software
- Verifying/reviewing completed procedures/ treatment plans with patients
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans and notes in Dentrix
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Coordinate patient appointments and treatment scheduling.
- Keeping track of your required supplies and purchasing supplies as needed upon management approval
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards patients
- Other general dental hygienist work assigned by office manager and Dr. Ouyar Hossein
```Qualifications``` - Must be a licensed Registered Dental Hygienist in Ontario - Previous experience in a dental office is preferred - Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients - Knowledge of orthodontics, periodontics and general dentistry is desirable - Proficient in using dental software (e.g., Dentrix) for patient record management

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
